Book of Life Movie Update

I can finally share some of the art for the upcoming movie Book of Life. I have been working on this movie for a little while and I am excited for it to come out in theaters on Oct. 17.

Here are some birds I did in watercolor. They are always fun to paint.

I started working on this guy a little bit ago. I am starting to finish him up. I hope to have the finished sculpt done soon.

Fruits and veggies in watercolor.

I used to paint stuff I had laying around my apartment. I really enjoy painting fruits and vegetables. I think I will paint them again in the future. These are a couple months old now but they still look and smell good ;)

 This is my usual work setup. I do a lot of painting on my lap in front of the tv. I find it is a good way to relax. These paintings are pretty small, as you can see in the picture. You can also see my reference. It was a great model and hardly moved.
